Amazing Dragon Cake
Yes that is a cake! I could hardly believe it at first! I found this while searching Google images for some writing inspiration. It's AMAZING! This cake was created for a special D&D get together, followed by a meal of corn dogs and cheese sticks! What a feast!
I just couldnt imagine being the one to cut into this precious cake. I couldnt do it. I would want to flash freeze it and put it on display somewhere. Just look at the poor thing below. It would be heart breaking...I wonder if it had a heart!
You can view the entire Photo Stream on Flicker. Truly fantastic!

Bram Stoker's Dracula - Blog Diary Format
Visit http://dracula-feed.blogspot.com/ for the retelling of Bram Stoker's Dracula in a blog diary format as it was originally written! This blog diary started May 3rd, 2009 so if you start now you won't have a lot to catch up on and can keep up with the story as it unfolds online.
Bram Stoker did a lot of work to make sure the timelines fit correctly and it all made sense, so this is a great way to see how he had originally portrayed the novel and get the overall feel he truly wanted you to see!
"Experience Bram Stoker's Dracula in a new way -- in real time. Dracula is an epistolary novel (a novel written as a series of letters or diary entries,) and this blog will publish each diary entry on the day that it was written by the narrator so that the audience may experience the drama as the characters would have."

The Hunt for Gollum Movie
Today, May 3rd 2009 at 16:00 GMT (9:00 AM PST), Rickety Shack Films is releasing "The Hunt for Gollum"; a 40 minute independent film based on Tolkien's writings and the Lord of the Rings series.
Here is an excerpt from the official website:
"The script is adapted from elements of the appendices of The Lord of the Rings. The story follows the Heir of Isildur; the "greatest huntsman and traveller in Middle Earth" as he sets out to find the creature Gollum. The creature must be found to discover the truth about the Ring, and to protect the future Ringbearer."
The Hunt for Gollum will be completely free and was created for and by Tolkien enthuasists. This a low budget high quality film that looks amazing in the trailers! You can download the full length film at http://www.hunt4gollum.com/ today after 9 AM PST!
UPDATE:
The movie is actually quite good for a low budget film where no one makes a dime. I loved the little details that I had never really though about before. Quite a good addition to the Lord of the Rings canon!
